manvan and ModD: I meant . . . 'what happened to the stimulus?". the economy has kind of tanked, no? or would it have been even worse without the coupla dollars that were thrown your way?

If I get a tax return...I'm actually going to have to put the majority of it towards the BRM exhaust for the Versa.

I don't think it worked as "planned"

Hopefully more money this year for me (due to buying a house). But all will have to go to the credit card (non-versa car parts).

I received my W-2 in the mail today and I have my 1098-T statement for college. Started working on my '08 taxes on Turbo Tax and will figure out how much I will receive or pay. Less than 5 months of college!

If I get some of my money back from taxes, I'm either going to save it or spend it. Possibly, when spent I'm going to get either:

- Nissan factory fog lights- aftermarket rims- DC strut bars- Anime or PS3/Wii videogame

I'm avoiding touching the engine with CAI or anything like that until the warranty ends. What do you people plan to purchase with your tax returns?

I want a CAI so bad I can taste it. (Tastes like chrome)

I am also torn between getting the projection headlights or not. I have the SS Ultra's (4300K) and they are plenty bright. I just like the look of the black-housing projectors.

Definately want a lowering kit, but not until all this snow melts. I woulda been hung up about 100X last few days if not for the stock 4WD ride height.

Ill probably craigslist some rims to save, sets of 17's with tires go for like 350-400 here.

Did my taxes last night. Getting the biggest return I've ever gotten so far WOO HOO! Now it just all goes to help pay off my wedding credit card.

No fun for me except I might go buy some clothes. How sad...how very sad.....

Did mine a couple days ago. About $250 more than last year, but expected even more. Not quite enough to pay off the credit card completely.

I just got my 1099-INT last night and finished up my taxes.

And I have just enough to pay off my credit card I used for my books and the BRM Exhaust system.

We switched our life style to strictly "cash and carry" over the last year. We paid off all the credit cards and closed most of them, keeping one for online purchases and emergency situations and the gasoline cards for long trips. Life is much more stress-free without the bills hanging over us. No credit card debt means we're paying ourselves instead of the banks all that money in interest. It's taken this financial meltdown and my unemployment to finally convince my wife that we needed to live our lives without credit cards.

At the end of the year we had just enough left over to buy tires for the Versa so we're putting a set of Michelins on it this coming Thursday.

75% of any tax refund this year will go straight into the savings account, with the other 25% going into the IRA.
