I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a Big T28?

They upgrade the compressor wheel, turbine shaft/wheel, and machine/port a stock T25.

I bought a blown sr T25 (oil seal) for $50 shipped, and then they'd basically rebuild + upgrade it. I've read they're good for 340-360whp.

Without the specs it's impossible to give any input. Is it similar to a GT series? Such as the 2876r or similar?

I mostly only see DSM Big T28 upgrades, but I specifically emailed a company that will do it (sr t25) for $625. The only thing I know specifically is: "Big T28 Compressor Wheel rated at 34lb/min or 340hp". But like I said, I'm not sure how well this would do on a KA-T as opposed to a DSM.

AGP's site claims they upgrade T25s to "TB03 compressor stage rated at 36lbs/min" which I guess is about 360hp roughly.

I was just more or less curious if anyone had used one or not...

Yeah, I'm definitely going to do it. So I guess I could be a guinea pig :D

seems like a lot of money.. why wouldn't you just spend the $625 on a better turbo? I guess it would be interesting to see though.

Yeah, I actually decided to go with a Garrett T3/TO4E .48 a/r + JGS kit w/ wastegate. The garrett is $575 shipped (4-bolt discharge).

Excellent choice, very little lag matched to a great compressor.
