Hell, you can 100hp with bolt-ons, without all the drama of turbocharging.

Us NICO folk are not big fans of STS.

They tried telling one of our members back in the day that they couldn't legally turbo their vehicle, because STS had some sort of patent. It was hilarious.

lol I just googled it quick, I didnt even read it. I know, I hear mixed results from them. One of my buddy's swares up and down on them, but he is also an idiot.

It should sound pretty nasty with the cam and head work done. I love the sound of LSXs even stock

that crap has a tendency to tear me up.

it's like one hell of a paper cut...

STS told him they "owned the patent on remote mounted turbos." It was pretty stupid.

You don't understand how much I hate this project. What isn't there to hate. 3 main reasons.
1.Its a chevy
2. It has a v8
3. Its not in my garage.

Always wanted the C5's vettes. As A kid I got a kick outta watching My neighbors vette leave at night. beautiful machine you got there. Can't wait to see the progress :)

I'm jelly of the sound deadening! I always thought that it would add something like 50+ pounds of weight, but just 10lbs is obscene to me. I wish I had another car so I could do this to my 3. :(

Might be a stupid question, but the GTMat that is used is the same that is now in the advertiser marketplace correct? Did you still have that link for the sound deadening showdown you mentioned?

It's the same.

The shootout, if I remember correctly, featured a couple products that are no longer in production.

I just did another vehicle using the GTmat Onyx product, and it's even better than their other products. Love that stuff.
