(thats not good!) so i get home and i lift the suspension(i had it really low). and the problem is solved! so i thought! so about 2 weeks later i noticed that the tire was wearing out very fast!
Well let's see now. According to your initial post, you replaced one front tire; a 215/40-18 with a 235/45-18. The 235/45-18 is 26.33" overall diameter, while the 215/40-18 is 24.77". There's a 1.56" difference in height. That'll screw up the alignment, tire wear and especially the handling.
You did two things that should never be done with a car for street use.- installing unequal tire sizes on either the front or the rear- changing the height of the suspension without doing an alignment
Every time you change the height of the suspension, the alignment will change.
You need a course in suspension-101.
