As some of you may know my son's project 240 has hit a major snag... after wrecking the car...and destroying 2 VOLK AV3 wheels We set about rebuilding the car.... I will skip that part... if want the whole story seach for "his fate is in your hands" thread.

Anyways... after searching to replace the two busted volks I ended up finding one used and had it refinished.. looks like new and placed an order with Overboost.com for the 4th wheel. They ordered the wheel from Japan 5 weeks ago. $650 one wheel

Overboost called today... no luck finding a wheel. Order cancelled.

The car is almost done... paint next week... but we need wheels...

Can't decide what to get... 1st choice is to find a final volk AV3... after that we just sort of feel luke warm about the other wheels we see...

Make a suggestion... I don't really like the bronze, black or white wheels... Chrome is too over the top... prefer a polished lip silver paint or somthing... suggestion on tires is appreciated too

Car is being painted BMW Toledo Blue search google if want to see the color.

What do guys think?

I think those look good, but they are 5 bolt only... The car is a 89 fastback need 4 bolt

What my dad forgot to mention is that we would prefer a 2-piece wheel if at all possible. And, not to be too picky :D a five spoke wheel. (four bolt pattern of course, no 300z conversion currently)

look into racing harts, from what i've seen all their multi-piece wheels are drilled for 4 and 5 lug.

And use

http://www.mailorderjapan.com/....html

It's worth a shot??

EDIT: I realize these may be 5-lug universal, but the "idea" of using the yahoo japan auctions and the mail order company, might help.
