BIG PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!

I just did the sr swap on my 91 and when i plug the battery in everything turned on with out the key in the ignition! does anybody know what the problem maybe i know the car did have an alarm in it but i ripped it out because it didn't come with any remotes

did u do ur own wiring?

yes i did my own wires and i fallowed the FRSport tech page i just think it's really wierd how everything is happening like this

alarms love to do that...but check to make sure everything is connected and look at where your motor harness connects to the dash harness and make sure its all connected.also make sure your lower body harness is all connected, (3 on alternator,2 on starter) and check your fuses.

ok so i found out when i unplug the grey plug by the battery everything stops acting the key is iin the on postion! so i fallowed everything fr-sport and nico said to do and this problem has happened i'm just wondering if anybody else has done this and had 7 wires left over.

the grey plug on the fuse box? and 7 wires? what do you mean?

7 wires arn't used between the brown and grey plug on the left side next to the battery!

whaaaa???? lower body harness? ther are 2 that go to positive terminal than i think 4 that go to fuse box..

weird... take off your dash and check the ignition wires taht go to the lock.

get a wring diagram and get familiar.

you'll track it down, worst case scenario replace sections of harness. with new harness from other cars.

Do you have your engine grounded to the chassis? I had the same issue, I put on 2 ground wires from engine to the body, problem went away. Also you can check your ignition harness in your steering column.
