big problem

me and my dad just finnished putting new carpet in my car. we got everthing in except the seats. the passenger seat went in fine, but when we put the driver seat in, $hit broke down. first off, the seat came from a junkyard, and even though it was in pretty good condition, it didn't slide very well. that made the installation kinda hard. the real problem, is now one of the bolts and a few of the mount holes are stripped. could I drill out the old holes and tap them slightly bigger, and stick user larger bolts?

never mind. I thought the mount holes where stripped, I guess not. my dad just torqued the other 2 bolts and the nut all the way down. so the seat's only held down in 3 places
