Don't be eating/drinking/talking on your cell (unless you have to) in your car is what I say...

lol my 97 s14's center console is perfect and can easily fit a soda can. on s13's take out the ash tray/coin holder in the middle, that works well too.

:rotflmao Get a bottle of Xenadrine or some other ephedrine based supplement, and be FREE from the beast that is coffee. Then you don't need a cup holder. If in fact you find you still have need of cupholders, get a passenger. Presto, cupholder, and if you're lucky, gas money or lovin.(assuming your passenger/cupholder is of the opposite sex)

Dammit Ryno, coffee is not the beast. Coffee=good.

Do you know how bad ephedrine-based supplements are? Very bad, or so I'm told. I kinda like the full body buzz I get from Thermogen II. Summer of '00, Joint Readiness Training Center in Louisiana, I lived on Clif bars and Thermogen while in the box for two weeks. Good stuff. I still love my coffee though.

AAARGGHH!!! another casualty!! Ephedrine is NOT bad in and of itsself. There has NEVER been an adverse event report that wasn't due to misuse of ephedrine by either the consumer or the manufacturer. I'm in the supplement business, so I deal with this stuff daily. There is a tremendous potential for misuse, but that exists with almost anything.

In the S13 if you take out the little (ash tray)center piece then a 20oz size will fit nicely!I use the 20oz bottle and just screw the top on real good.Heck most cup holders in cars these days dont hold drinks anyway, either because they are located in bad spots or because thaey are too small!

Did you know that really was a cup holder? It came with a divider to go in those little slots in the middle of the opening. You could make one fast with a 3/32" or so peice of abs plastic and trim it (I may do this one day for shiz and giggles).. But it really is a cup holder and why small drinks can fit in there (especially with the divider). Just like nissan to put a round cup in a square hole.

If your useing a 20oz bottle in a S-13 just stick it where the shoulder belt comes out between your side and the consol. Thats what i do and it works fine.

misuse misuse misuse. All you need is a little common sense. Then again, sometimes common sense is an uncommon thing.

Whoa, easy there my tusked friend. Reread my post. I am a big fan of Thermogen, Xenadrine and other metabolic-enhancing supplements. Some contraband Ripped Fuel got me through the last week of infantry training at Ft. Benning several years ago. I am in complete agreement with your position. Powerful supplements that are misused can have powerful and negative side effects. Used properly, they can have powerful positive effects. Hell, Ripped Fuel got me through a 21 mile roadmarch with stress fractures in my feet with no stimulant-related side-effects. Also keep in mind that I was stimulant free for almost four months prior to that. Not even a cup of coffee or a soda. Well maybe a couple of contraband sodas but that's about it.

My degree is in Exercise Science so I find dietetic and sport supplementation very interesting. It's cool that there is someone on the board knowledgeable on the subject and totally up to speed on the current events in the industry.

What in your unbiased opinion is the best protein supplement? I was leaning toward designer whey time release protein w/low carbo content.

As to the cupholder thing, I just take out the ashtray like everyone else.

I don't know if you guys thought I was kidding with the passenger/cupholder thing, I was dead serious. As to protein, if you want, I'd be more than happy to advise on that and any other Nutrition/Supplement related question. However, you might want to email me at [email protected] so it doesn't sap precious bandwidth. Drop me a line and I'll get right back to you. I'm in the store right now in fact.
