well its not a huge problem to everyone but to someone whos broke like me it is. but i recently bought an apexi n1 dual catback exhaust with a megan hi flow racing catalytic converter and it sound amazing but two days ago i was leaving my work and it was dark and rainy and they have little islands in the parking lot and they re did some of the curbs to them but they did not paint them the same color as the rest so on one of the islands the middle of its all yellow but the ends are black and its night time so im driving i dont see s*** and i go up on the island over it and put a huge dent in the muffler part of my exhaust now it has this painfully annoying pinging sound and i took it to my dads friends shop today to see if i could do anything about it and he said no and id have to buy a new midsection fpor the exhaust and i cant seem to find one to replace it with and i surley cannot buy a whole new exhaust system im only 16 and i pull in about 150 at the most a week usually less and it messed up the whole under side of my car and it did something to my right back wheel im not really sure what it is but every rotation of the tire something like bumps the wheel well its veryy annoying and im just wondering what i should do does anyone have any input to where i might beable to find the mid section of the exhaust or anything at all would help

~thanks zach

Exhaust shop is your best bet, or if you have a friend with a welder who knows what they are doing. Or just get one of the cheap $140 apexi knock offs on ebay. They sound good, fitment is just off a little. Here is the exact one I got and two years later it is still doing great.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...t_754As for the rear tire noise... look under there and just look for anything out of the norm, Bends, Breaks, and maybe a bushing missing..

Thats good. I wish I had a welder, as you start modifying your car more and more, and try to get creative you will realise how much you need one. There is a very good chance you may have just blistered the tire. What exactly is it doing?Does it stop when you brake or turn?Does it stop at certain speeds?

I just bought a car where the dude b4 did the exact same thing as you and it turned out to have two bent rims. After market black and chrome 17s. Replacing these is all but impossible for me LOL, i feel ya bro.

yeahh i was pissed but i took out the midsection with my friend and cut out the resonator and jsut welded two 3 inch pipes to 2 2 inch pipes instead of the resonator and its so loudd it sounded ok but then i started noticing a raspy kinda sound at the end which i hate and i cant get on the gas without the whole world knowing and it feels like i lost horse power it sucks cause theres not much i can do about it right now but for the curb part of it i bent my drive shaft and thats where the sound and the like thumping feeling and the resonator that i cut off was being slowly eaten away by the drive shaft cause every rotation it hit the resonator and just like dug into and there was a huge indent and you couyld see the marks on the drive shaft where it was hitting.

bring it to any exhaust shop and get an estimate... they can bend the straight pipe that they have and weld it on your car.

yea agreed, an exhaust shop is your best bet for a mandrel bent exhaust to replace your dinged up section. as far as the driveshaft you could pull one out of the j/y. the forward sections are diffrent between the auto and manual but the rear section is the same auto or stick. alternatively you could take your driveshaft and car to an offroad shop and thay should be able to make a onepiece fairly cheep as big trucks need driveshafts to accomidate huge lift kits and making a shaft isnt all that tough with the right equipment. but it definately would not be lightweight.
