I have my rb20 in my s13 and have done a few drift events with it, But i wanted some more power so decided to go for bigger turbo and top mount manifold, When removing the manifold i snapped 4 studs on the exhaust side.

I managed to get 1 out with a drill and easy outs, but when i tried the 2nd one i accidentally drilled to far and went into the head!, oil now leaks out of the last exhaust stud hole towards the firewall, its a pretty small hole but im still worried..

can i just put the stud back in and hope for the best?

use a high heat sealant and you should be fine.... or you could tap the hole all the way thru, cut the head off a bolt slot it and seal it... then put the stud in

Hmmm do you know if behind that spot is a specific oil gallery for something?

Snapping studs happens too often, pretty much the best coarse is removal and it taken to a machine shop and get it done right. I would say get another head send IT to the machine shop get it rebuilt with new studs and do a head swap.
