So yesterday I was driving home from work, and merged into a double turn lane to enter a freeway here in Phoenix. There was a car next to me and I was in the far inside lane. I noticed a pothole in the road, and of course there was no way to swerve to attempted to miss it. I tried to slow down as much as I could after how bad I saw it was. BAM i hit it and felt it hit my rim and heard the air rush out. I change dmy tire and couldnt really wee the rim damage. So I got home and inspected it, found dent on the insde lip of the rim. I have 20 x 8.5 " Armano 7 spoke rims rims, I can not find what the name of them on? Can anyone help me, I have searched all over and no luck. Is there any way to fix this? Also has anyone had luck with getting the city to pay for damage due to potholes? I am very pissed I do not want to buy 4 new 20" rims, of course my tires are only 5000 miles old...

I would greatly appreciate any help guys!

Get a lawyer and get your wheel paid for. Talk to locals near there; put out a CL ad or something. I'm sure others have fallen victim to that pothole. Get them to sign a petition or formal letter about the pothole, how long its been there, what's been damaged and complain that the city has done nothing to repair it.
