This is AC's Project R51 & with the exception of the paint job this is one badassness R51 (the paint job sucks I don't care what you say). It has a total of 8.5" of lift (although they won't tell me how they achieved that much) on 35's. Plus a bunch of other crazy sh*t like an ARB front bumper, sliders with side-impact protection, rear tire carrier, roof raack, lights, etc, etc. Was just bored & thought I'd share.

PS I would've kept the paint stock, gone with black 16x10 rims running some 36x13.5 Irok radials, but thats just me...

Really?... no one else thinks this is a big-badass R51?... christ, all you guys enjoy is loud f*ckin stereos, & big shiny rims! I know that paint isn't that great but for f*cks sake you could easily fit 36's under that beast & wheel the hell outta it or for a lot of people, drive it around your nieghborhood & have everyone go "ooh look how big it is"

Whatever, lets get back to the regular mindless dribble. Carry on...

Exactly... No, it's *kind* of badass, except for the a$$ paint and too much lift. Looks high center of gravity to me. We think rock hopping and desert rompin out here. Too much lift is bad for that.

Thats why you throw some wider rims & tires on the b*tch & yes I have mentioned twice that the paint is horendous. And I see a lot of your buddies out in MOAB that run 38+ tires or like that black frontier that I see everywhere (he posts pics & vids of every little rock & muddhole he crosses) out in southern Cali that runs a narrow straight axle front & rear with 37's...

I'll give you that...it is a monster. But, like snowsurflax said..it's about rocks and desert out in So Cal...Adam knows...and so does his running board. lol Now, stuff out here in NC is a different story, but I wouldn't know, 'cause the f*cking Marine Corps owns like the whole f*cking area and there are no open places to go have fun. So I gotta roll up past New Bern..there's a national forest up there I'm going to go check out this weekend. But...Yeah, it would go well in mud, water, whale-sized boulder gardens...but for the sh*t that I used to do in Cali, man, lift was a bad thing...you wanted just enough to be able to ram up and over and rely on your skids to get you through...'cause especially in the desert...lift it too high, man there are some sharp dropoffs...you'll roll that b*tch. And yes, the paint sucks nuts. I hate it. I want to fight it.

Sounds like you're around Ft. Lajeune. My parents live around there, I know what you mean. It seems all the open land is too busy being bombed and blasted.

Yeah, but don't the Moab dudes have wide stances?

And isn't that fronty the guy who has the wicked coilovers? If you've got the travel, you can get away with a lot. That R51 just looks like it's lifted. I've seen some guys with what seems like 12' of travel so they can run all over baja and hell and never notice the terrain difference.

And yeah, that paint is sh*tty

Yeah he has some expensive as$ coilovers but his stance is still narrow as hell & it looks tippy as can be. The baddest Frontier out there is Brian's (Houdini) red Frontier (I'll find a pic or 2 when I get home), but Richard (Frontier2k1) is building the nastiest Frontier I've ever heard of. When that b*tch is done look out! If you're intersted in a badass truck build thats not finished check Richard's out:http://www.noas4x4club.com/for...=2956

But back to the Pathfinder talk & such...

that guy simply did what the rockcrawlers told him was good, but thats a whole different sector of wheeling personally, i like high speed dunes..... wheelin on a beach.... baja... in which case, IFS is ideal with a linked up rear axle, low center of gravity, and high horsepower

ive got all that except fhorsepower hahahah

I didn't think the injectors would have to be replaced. I thought it was pulleys & ECU.
