Ok i found a 92 240sx coupe for 2000$. the body is straight and the interior is decent, only problem is that it is an automatic.

Now ive been searching for a 240sx coupe for awhile now and i think its come down to this. I only have 2000$ to spend at the moment. So would it be worth the time/money/effort to convert it over to manual when i do the SR swap?

I would be buying a front clip so in retrospec i would have almost allt he parts need to convert it over. Im just asking do you think its worth it.

By the way the coupe also has HUD and pwr. windows and locks and the sunroof:)

the manual swap isnt THAT hard but its time consuming so if ur gonna do it then go for it, connect four. if the mileage isnt too bad and its clean then go for it

i'm goin to be in a month or two oncei get my sr. i havent done one yet but if u r gettin an sr it wont be that hard from the way i look at it. everything will bolt right in clutch pedal, line will run across and down, slave cylinder line bracket bolts to a hole already in the frame, and driveshaft will bolt up. only thing that will be a lil tricky maybe will be making the holes for the clutch master cylinder. i havent checked yet to see if i can get a drill in there might have to use a dremel. like i'll be doin it soon and ill let everyone know how it goes

I am having my SR swap done as we speak, and my 95 240 is also getting changed to a manual. A professional shop with experience doing this, can have it done in one day. I spent about 50 bucks for ALL parts at a junk yard. But since youre getting a fron clip all you'll have to worry about is labor.

Hey if you're going auto..I live in Florida too and can sell you an 89 for 1350 let me know if you're interested

hey DonDonati88, think you can find more 5 spd parts for that cheap. i cant even find a 240 of any year around here. i'm planning on buying hte parts with the engine throught daunt for $350 but if i can save a couple dollars i'm down. if i do source the 5 spds parts myslef the hardest one is goin to be a manual s14 driveshaft with abs/lsd
