So my 90 NA started to develop a leak that would drip from the engine to the transmission and run down till it dripped on the floor. After removing plenum and intake manifold i come across this...
Image :wtf2:

I have no idea where the leak is... and before anyone points it out, yes i need to change the knock sensor. So yeah... anyone have a clue from where the leak could be???

Thanks in advance! :)

None of the hoses under the plenum are leaking?

Your LIM gaskets look intact, so I'm guessing its not leaking there. Did you inspect the hoses both underneath the plenum (assuming you have not done the throttle body coolant hose bypass)? Also, inspect both the hoses and connections associated with the heater core hoses. Many water lines intersect back here, and if some bolts worked their way out of the large heater core pipes it could cause a small flood.

However, the way the block is shaped, it would be difficult for the coolant to get that far forward if the leak were at the back of the plenum. Not impossible though. My money is on the coolant lines under the throttle bodies.

UNder plenum hoses is my first guess. Second would be the pipe that runs front to back to connect to the T-stat housing.
