big change...in my back yard

I'm in mourning. After 100+ yrs of giving my backyard great shade, I "saw" the end coming so I had to finally take down the giant maple tree in the backyard of casa Bubba. I'm not going out on a limb, but I've had a deep-rooted attachment to that tree, ax anyone, though I admit I did say I was sycamore leaf raking. But I can cedar forest thru the trees, and wood be planting another tree soon.

Nope, I've always considered trees poplar. In fact, I'm stumped by those that don't appreciate 'em.
