Classic! You taught English in Brazil?Great White Versa wrote:I here you bro. Your totally right. When I taut English in Brazil they wood use awl the wrong words.
I know it may seem pointless on here, but it sticks out like a sore thumb when I'm reading these posts. If I ever start to critique someone's sentence construction or deeper grammatical issues - then yes, by all means, pull out the English teacher joke.lain wrote:you might want to apply as an english teacher where it matters.
Yeah, it isn't that bad - but I guess what gets me is that so many Americans have this bad attitude when it comes to immigrants learning English - especially around here (Tulsa).Great White Versa wrote:Since we're on the subject, I'll say this. I don't care if people have typos in their posts.
My assistant service manager spells squeak SQEEK. Try telling home something "skeeks" and he'll smack you.Rockhound wrote:

The Brake/Break thing kills me, as does QUIET/QUITE.
While we're on the spelling topic, it's DEFINITELY not "DEFINATELY" or my personal favorite, DEFIANTLY. I think I see "DEFINATELY" just about every day...
My question is - why aren't more people using Firefox? It'll automatically check spelling in all text-entry forms.
Of course, one that slips by the ol' spell check is YOUR/YOU'RE. It's YOU'RE welcome, not YOUR welcome.
I know we're on a message board and all, but it still bothers me.
another thing to note, is that there maybe be only one or two cars that fit the power requirement to warrent the brake kit. there might be a few ppl that would benefit from the brake kit if they auto-x or do road course. but ya, unless you address the back i cant see getting a one.Ever Victorious wrote:Back to the original topic...
I see a huge fatal flaw in that kit. It's only for the fronts, there's no rear brake conversion. So you're going to take the Versa, which already has way too much front brake bias, and give it even MORE power in the front?
Was fishtailing not good enough? now you have to stop your front so fast you're actually going to spin the car completely?
Hey The Edge, I don't think a cold air intake will void the warranty, it doesn't clealy state that in the service agreement; it only mentions exhaust systems, etc. If you happen to have a "mechanical breakdown," then the dealership has to prove that the aftermarket part caused it.The Edge wrote:It's amazing how many people confuse BREAK and BRAKE.
Those look nice. Unfortunately no mods for me until my warranty expires then I'll go crazy. Only mods I would do is strut bar, rear bumper protection, OEM fogs, etc....
Stuff that won't void warranty items.
You can ONLY void the warranty on a car IF they can PROVE that the part installed AFFECTS the performance of the problem stated.FD3S wrote:

I'm not sure if brakes will void the warranty, you'll have to check. I was planning to do the same and not install performance parts, but the warranty is too long... so I'm going to do it anyways and hope that nothing happends :]
What year Sentra? The new Spec V doesn't come with a Brembo option, and the older hubs MIGHT be different as to where the caliper brackets bolt on. I have done caliper swaps before, I had '99 GSX calipers on my Lancer before I traded it in, and I did some HEAVY research to find what ones fit. The other thing you have to be careful about is if you go TOO BIG with brakes, the master cylinder might not be able to withstand it for too long.NewToVersa wrote:How about a sentra spec-v Brembo swap... is it possible?
