For a minute there I thought I was playing GT2 on my PSone (wow, that was a long time ago).

That's pretty awesome stuff. Gotta pay to play, however.

It's amazing how many people confuse BREAK and BRAKE.

Those look nice. Unfortunately no mods for me until my warranty expires then I'll go crazy. Only mods I would do is strut bar, rear bumper protection, OEM fogs, etc....

Stuff that won't void warranty items.

I thought I was becoming the resident grammar nit-pick, but I'm glad it bothers someone else.

The Brake/Break thing kills me, as does QUIET/QUITE.

While we're on the spelling topic, it's DEFINITELY not "DEFINATELY" or my personal favorite, DEFIANTLY. I think I see "DEFINATELY" just about every day...

My question is - why aren't more people using Firefox? It'll automatically check spelling in all text-entry forms.

Of course, one that slips by the ol' spell check is YOUR/YOU'RE. It's YOU'RE welcome, not YOUR welcome.

I know we're on a message board and all, but it still bothers me.

I here you bro. Your totally right. When I taut English in Brazil they wood use awl the wrong words.

The worst part is that it was hard to tell them not to cause they see all of us americans saying every thing wrong online. I second the use of Firefox or any browser other than IE for that matter.

Classic! You taught English in Brazil?

I know it may seem pointless on here, but it sticks out like a sore thumb when I'm reading these posts. If I ever start to critique someone's sentence construction or deeper grammatical issues - then yes, by all means, pull out the English teacher joke.

Yeah, I did. Well, I tried to, it didn't work out very well...

Since we're on the subject, I'll say this. I don't care if people have typos in their posts. I may laugh at you (to myself, of course) but I really don't care. What bothers me is when the grammar/construction/spelling is so bad that it becomes difficult to understand the message. I understand that many on this forum do not speak English as their first language and I applaud them for learning as well as they have so far, but double checking your work can go a long way to making it easier for people to answer your questions.

Yeah, it isn't that bad - but I guess what gets me is that so many Americans have this bad attitude when it comes to immigrants learning English - especially around here (Tulsa).

I'll try not to open a can of worms here, but I think immigrants should at least try to learn English at a moderate level...but what gets me is that the worst bigots about the whole thing are usually those that use terrible grammar and might even be borderline illiterate. It's pretty ironic.

So yeah, basic stuff gets to me a little more than it should.

Back to the original topic...

I see a huge fatal flaw in that kit. It's only for the fronts, there's no rear brake conversion. So you're going to take the Versa, which already has way too much front brake bias, and give it even MORE power in the front?

Was fishtailing not good enough? now you have to stop your front so fast you're actually going to spin the car completely?

My assistant service manager spells squeak SQEEK. Try telling home something "skeeks" and he'll smack you.

As far as having too much brake bias, on my last car I had a "big brake" kit that I made myself using other calipers from different cars, etc...and it made a HUGE difference, no fishtailing; however, unless you have a ton of power going through your car, big brake kits are a waste. You'd need bigger wheels.

I'd just go with slotted rotors and different pads if you want looks/performance at a reasonable price.

another thing to note, is that there maybe be only one or two cars that fit the power requirement to warrent the brake kit. there might be a few ppl that would benefit from the brake kit if they auto-x or do road course. but ya, unless you address the back i cant see getting a one.

Hey The Edge, I don't think a cold air intake will void the warranty, it doesn't clealy state that in the service agreement; it only mentions exhaust systems, etc. If you happen to have a "mechanical breakdown," then the dealership has to prove that the aftermarket part caused it.

I'm not sure if brakes will void the warranty, you'll have to check. I was planning to do the same and not install performance parts, but the warranty is too long... so I'm going to do it anyways and hope that nothing happends :]

You can ONLY void the warranty on a car IF they can PROVE that the part installed AFFECTS the performance of the problem stated.

Case in point: Aftermarket remote start installed on a 2005 Maxima 3.5SL causes the car to think it's always in drive and the seats can't be adjusted (memory seats).

What year Sentra? The new Spec V doesn't come with a Brembo option, and the older hubs MIGHT be different as to where the caliper brackets bolt on. I have done caliper swaps before, I had '99 GSX calipers on my Lancer before I traded it in, and I did some HEAVY research to find what ones fit. The other thing you have to be careful about is if you go TOO BIG with brakes, the master cylinder might not be able to withstand it for too long.
