Ok here is the dilemma I'm doing the 300ZX brake upgrade and doing 5 lug conversion and now I'm lookin at rims. A set of rims I was were 17/ 7 but are pretty deep. So the question is how will i know if they will fit without having to spend buku bucks only to fail. I am still waiting for an email to find out the offset on them. Here is a pic of them.

there is no way to know. it s not based on offset, only spoke design. if no one has tried, youll have to be the first for those wheels.

i did the 30mm 300zx brake conversion with my rims, and the spoke design is pretty much to the outer rim off the wheel, and they didnt clear it so you might as well buy longer studs now. Also see if you can drop a stock wheel off at a weld shop of some sort to get some good quality spacers made. http://www.courtesynissan.com has the studs.

its all about the spoke design. some 91-94 stock wheels clear, others dont. at some point they added (or removed?) some bracing on the back of the spoke.

my 16s dont clear, obviously cause there mesh. but stock 7 spokes will. some 17s dont, my friends Enkeis clear with like 40mm to spare.

its cannot be determined until it is tried.
