Does anyone know if this is a good deal?

Wilwood is definitely a good name brand. As far as the cost is concerned you'd have to compare it to the same kit only brand new.

From my initial impression though it seems to be a good deal considering it even comes with new pads.

Definitely looks like a good deal... Do you have upgraded rotors? Might as well have those if your looking to upgrade your brakes, that and/or new brake lines

You would have to change out the brake lines or something. Will the Maxima even run those? The maxima (you have a 2001 right?) is just a single piston or mono brake set up. the one you have found on eBay is a quad or 4 pistons. The way the maxima works is when you hit the brakes the piston in the caliper pushes out and at the same time slides the pad on the other side of the rotor and pushes it into the rotor. and because of this it only needs one brake line running to it.

I don't know for sure so nobody loose it on me. but the caliper in this picture needs to be fed with two lines. because it has four cylinders (two on each side) and doesn't use the sliding action like the stock brakes. So with this system when you hit the brake pedal instead of the one cylinder doing all the pushing. you have four cinders all pushing two pads into the rotor. make sense?

If you made it all work your car would stop like nothing else! The GTR is using a quad caliper on its front brakes. I just don't know how easy it would be to make it all work. you would either need a new master brake cylinder that could run all those lines or some kind of splitter? Im sure allensteiner will be along soon. He seems pretty knowledgeable and will probably know more than me. I cant remember the name of it right now but does anyone know the mechanical name of the brakes on the maxima's? there is a specific name for the type of caliper it uses...

seriously bro why waste money on that unless you are racing? just paint the stock calipers red and slap on a willwood decal on them, and spend the rest on something more useful

If these are anything like the 4 pot calipers I have dealt with you still only use one feed line. There are 2 bleeder screws but still only one fluid feed.

You will have clearance issues with stock wheels though. You'd have to upgrade to usually a 17" at the minimum and you'd have to make sure that the offset would allow the wheel to clear the caliper.
