Ok guys here it goes....

I just changed my rotors and pads a week ago.

On a S14 i put on

Brembo rotors and KVR carbon pads bleed the brakes with Motul 5.1

Anyways It seemed everything went great but I have a problem.

I cannot lock up the brakes.

and when I am at a full stop and i try I can press the brake pedal to the floor. I was thinking I have air in my system but I used two full blottles and bled it till clear fluid came out and no air... so i assume there is not air..

does anyone have some smart ideas ????

no. the car should be off to bleed them. When you mentioned that the pedal goes to the floor, is the car on when that happens? the pedal only stiffens when the car is off.

yea, i have an idea, you have air in your brakes.. it will take a while dude, and use a rubber mallet to knock the calipers a bit, just bounce the hammer on the calipers, not slamming them, sometimes air gets lodged in parts..

When you bled the brakes, did you pay close attention to the master cylinder to make sure that it didn't empty? If not, you may have added air through that.

But it definitely seems like you have air in your brake system.

when im at the stop light i can also push the brake pedal to the floor (thats normal right?), but when im driving i never have been able to cause my brakes grab hard and my tires lock up b4 my brake pedal gets to the end of its travel.

i just put hawk hps pads all around with brembo blanks in front and old rear rotors.. bled fluid too..

brake pedal to the floor is never normal.

You have air in the system. Did you follow the right bleeding procedure?
