I am thinking about getting a BBK for my 350Z, was just wondering what kind of expierience any of you had with BBKs, what brand you would reccomend, and the place to get the best price

TIA

I don't have a 350z or a BBK. My personal pick would be Rotora, you can even get a deal on them from our sponsors. Nothing but good comments from Rotora stuff, plus their light blue caliper color is something different.

Can you tell me which sponsor sells rotora? It was between Rotora and AP racing.

What is your intended use? The use of the car will largely dictate the braking capacity you will need.

I suspect heavy bling factoring on friday nights.

If that's the case look for stock brembos from a 350z.

only one problem with that.... it comes with the electronic nanny thing to "help" you drive better. and the viscous diff. there is no since in buying a z and paying for the diff at that price if you are going to put a 1.5 or 2 way in. and lotts of people dont like the vdc in the car.. they say it messes with the balance.

I'm a big fan of AP racing brake systems...never failed anyone I know. The brembo GT brake systems are also unholly bad-***.

Rotora is nice, but...meh...I'm unimpressed with them overall.

Honestly, Id just get some hawk pads and some good rotors for the stock brakes.. The car already stops very impressive and unless your going to be doing commando runs on the track, its probably not necessary.

One is like an aluminum can, the other is like steel. Not difficult to tell one from the other.

You can't beat the affordability of Stoptech.

They are used extensively in racing like the AP Racing kits, most noteably by Bill Aubelen's BMW which won in 2004, but without the AP Racing cost.

Also won the SCC Mag "Best Stopping Distance for a 350Z Award"

http://www.stoptech.com/proven...shtml

You can buy them from SPL Parts, http://www.splparts.com

Tell them Alan from NICO sent you and they will take care of you.
