I know there are a million posts about this... I am sorry...

The reason I am writing this is because it seems like more and more DIY people are jumping on this kit. I can only assume new information/tricks have surfaced. So just a few questions:

1. Any ideas for cutting the dust shield (dremel maybe)?
2. Should I use high heat clear coat on the calipers to keep them looking new longer?
3. Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Also, I am using 15mm Eibach spacers with stock 2008 19's; won't I need to shave a little metal off the back of the wheel to make room for the studs?

Just take a couple extra steps to unbolt the hubs and remove it cleanly.

Otherwise, a good pair of metal shearing scissors will work.

It doesn't matter what at you do to the calipers, rocks, road debris will knick them. It will be un-noticeable to anyone not analyzing them with a microscope from behind the rim. Don't sweat treating them with anything.

Just my opinion.
