Approximately how many feet will the kit use?
The grounding kits for the Altima are $55-$60 and involve 5-7 wires. Why is the Big 3 kit between $80-$100?
Many companies are mis-representing the use of aluminum in their wires. Are you 100% sure you are getting 100% OFC?
What brand of fuse/circuit breakers will be used? Are pics possible?
If you are using 0/1 AWG, would you be willing to sell an extra 20 feet of 0/1 gauge at a good price if someone bought a kit? Several people buying this kit are building stereo systems. 20 feet of wire should be enough to run power to the trunk.
I am definitely interested, just need a few answers.
First and foremost, I DO NOT USE ALUMINUM WIRE!!!
CCA is garbage and that's why it's sold as such a low price.
Second. The grounding kits utilize 4 gauge wire. The big 3 uses 1/0 wire.
1/0 has approximately 2.5 times as much wire per given length as 4 gauge does. As such, the price is significantly higher.
If we took a linear ratio for pricing, then the big 3 should cost around $125-$150 (Assuming equal # of feet).
The grounding kits also do not include fuses or circuit breakers which add to the cost. So when I charge $80-$100 for a big 3 kit, there's more involved.
As for the additional wire. Sure, I'd be happy to. I can even get you terminals if you'd like (screw type, not crimp type). Pricing will depend on how many big 3 pre-orders (+ how much additional "side wire" is ordered).
