Starting a new thread. Many of you asked me to do the research and design a Big 3 kit for the Altimas (Coupes and Sedans).

I've struck a great deal with a supplier on these, but I will need pre-orders before purchasing any supplies.

Pricing will be UNDER $100 shipped for the most expensive options. Average should be around $80-$85 shipped. Color choices are beautiful (Red, Black, Blue, Silver, Purple)..

I'm not pushing this because I need the sales, I'm doing it because these prices WILL NOT LAST...for me and therefore for you. If you guys are interested, but just don't want to, or can't buy it now, I TOTALLY understand, but I need to know.

I'm looking at buying 4 spools worth of wire that retails for over $1200 (won't be paying that, but still) plus all of the special equipment for the larger wire including fuse/circuit breakers and terminals.

You can put one of these together yourself for about $80-$90 shipped, but you have to deal with measuring, cutting, and assembling. I'm doing that all for you for about the same price. So...

So far, I have one pre-order and another person asking me about this.

Give me a heads up as to if you're just not interested, work is lacking, or you just now are reading this so I can figure out what to do here.

What gauge of wire will be used in the Big 3 kit?

Approximately how many feet will the kit use?

The grounding kits for the Altima are $55-$60 and involve 5-7 wires. Why is the Big 3 kit between $80-$100?

Many companies are mis-representing the use of aluminum in their wires. Are you 100% sure you are getting 100% OFC?

What brand of fuse/circuit breakers will be used? Are pics possible?

If you are using 0/1 AWG, would you be willing to sell an extra 20 feet of 0/1 gauge at a good price if someone bought a kit? Several people buying this kit are building stereo systems. 20 feet of wire should be enough to run power to the trunk.

I am definitely interested, just need a few answers.

First and foremost, I DO NOT USE ALUMINUM WIRE!!!

CCA is garbage and that's why it's sold as such a low price.

Second. The grounding kits utilize 4 gauge wire. The big 3 uses 1/0 wire.

1/0 has approximately 2.5 times as much wire per given length as 4 gauge does. As such, the price is significantly higher.

If we took a linear ratio for pricing, then the big 3 should cost around $125-$150 (Assuming equal # of feet).

The grounding kits also do not include fuses or circuit breakers which add to the cost. So when I charge $80-$100 for a big 3 kit, there's more involved.

As for the additional wire. Sure, I'd be happy to. I can even get you terminals if you'd like (screw type, not crimp type). Pricing will depend on how many big 3 pre-orders (+ how much additional "side wire" is ordered).

So far I've got two orders.

I think there were like 10 of you who wanted this, so...*crickets*

For those of you who just wanted 20 ft of 1/0, email me so I know how much to add to the order.

Guys, I would HIGHLY suggest you jump on this... I assure you you will NOT be able to create a similar quality Big 3 kit on your own for cheaper, or even the same amount of money( Especially with the built in fuses). 1/0 gauge 99.9% Oxygen Free Copper wire is rather expensive, even off of ebay.

You would probably need about 14 feet to be safe, but after getting terminals, shrink wrap, fuses and fuses holders, you'll be at about $110-125 after shipping, easily.

I got all of my wires for free from my local shop, but if I hadn't, I would've jumped on this to save some $$$$

Lets go guys. Great product and a great price. It's win-win.

I know there is a good number altima owners out there with custom audio systems. If you're going to put any money into a sound system you have to think about upgrading your "big-3". Not putting better/larger gauge wires into your cars charging system, and building up your sound system, is like building a house on a shaky foundation.

Jose can attest that I really like you guys, otherwise I wouldn't have replaced his OEM battery with the Optima he brought and potentially killed myself when a tool completed the circuit and made sparks. I reached in and grabbed it hehehe.

Anyways, I emailed a couple of you that have pending orders. If you bought a red grounding kit, I'm still waiting on wire. The supplier had to have it shipped from CA to NJ and then back to me here in CA which somehow has taken over 2 weeks *rolls eyes*.

I'll be busting my butt to get these out as soon as the wire comes in.

Black N White and I weren't able to meet this past weekend to measure out the 2.5L. That will probably happen this weekend. Also I'm still debating on what to do with the last wire for the big 3. Technically there should be 3, but a grounding kit does what the 3 wire does so...we'll see. The VQ didn't really allow for the 3rd wire, but I'll keep digging.

I'm working on getting the 3.5 big 3s out later this week when I figure out how to keep you all from electrocuting (SP) yourselves in the install process.

I installed my grounding kit last week and I'm also interested in the Big 3 upgrade as well. Maybe it will get rid of that damn whine.

Still waiting on red wire. Sorry bro. I ordered it 3-4 weeks ago and it was supposed to be here with all of the big 3 wires, but then the supplier said they had NO red 4 gauge and had to order it, have it shipped to them, and then ship it to me.

To everyone,

Please bear with me on your orders if you haven't gotten it yet. Most of my previous customers know that I get stuff out lightning fast, but when I'm at the mercy of a supplier, there's not much I can do to make things go any faster.
