Bi-xenon vs Adaptive headlights for EX35

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum and glad to be part of this community.
I a new owner of a 2009 EX35 Journey and have a question....
Are Bi-xenon headlights package separate from Adaptive Xenon headlights?
My car has the Adaptive xenon lights but when it turn on the high beam...it just turns on the yellow high beams... is there are setting for bixenon headlights?
