I was looking to get an HID conversion kit from DDM Tuning. I wanted to replace my high and low beams. I was wondering if I NEEDED to buy a bi-xenon HID conversion kit or if I could buy a single beam HID conversion kit for the low beams, and then buy another kit solely for the high beams later on if I really wanted them.

I'm not sure if I'll really need the high beam HID's because I figure the low beams will be damn bright; plus money is a little tight which is why I'm considering buying the DDM Tuning single beam conversion kit. As a side note, if anyone has a link to some reasonably priced, quality bi-xenon kits (~$65 shipped?) then I would really appreciate it. Thanks

So I'm guessing that either nobody knows or nobody cares...?

Honestly I wouldnt get HIDs for high beams. They take a while to warm up.

I got EuroEFX HID's and I can't find them anywhere online I think they only sell to dealers. I won them for free at a local shop that was opening(shady, I know). But never the less they are bright as Sheol. I NEVER use my high beams now because even with my headlights aligned at the right height they don't do too much for me.

SW burbs? Would those be the SW burbs of Chi town?

Welcome to NICO.

edit: Before I won my free kit I was going to get the 35W kit from DDM with the slim balast. I think I few people here are using them and from what I read they love 'em.

second edit: The highbeams on Altimas are different bulbs than the headlights. I'm pretty sure that means that we wouldnt use a bi-xenon kit in our cars based off of the 10 second googling I did to see what bi-xenon was but I'm not sure.
