So ive been battling an overheating problem for quite some time... ive bleed the hell out of the system replaced watter pump hoses thermo, and re- replaced them just to be sure... A bubble is defiantly forming in the system because ill burp it and its fine for a day or so, then rapidly overheats, and before i can pull over it has gone back to normal. But it gets worse until i bleed it again. I have no white smoke out the tail pipe, no oil in the coolant, and no coolant in the oil. i have not had a compression test yet, but the car pulls fine. in fact it runs amazing! if it were not for this overheating problem. The only thing i have not replaced is the radiator, it is three years old, but i did run plain water in if for a while, and it sat for a month or two with just water in it. i did do a pretty good job flushing it out though. Im getting really irritated with this problem and i would just die if i replaced the head gasket and it did not fix it

Any help/ advice would be appreciated, i have done a lot of searching on this issue and it seems like ive tried everything, different bleeding techniques, additives etc...

You have a functioning (not leaking) overflow? Any leaks between the radiator and the bottle? Radiator cap replaced recently?

Also, how do you know it's overheating? Dash gauge is crap and not reliable.

I have not done a great job at checking the overflow,so that is some awesome advice. i did notice the hose was pretty long, and went under somethings and was pinched by others, i was curious to see if i could shorten the hose length, and maybe re route it. It is currently in a position that is not pinching it or restricting it in any way. I have replaced the radiator cap, with the nismo one, it raises the pressure a bit. I have also checked the overheating with a heat gun, right where the temp sensor and air bleed screw is, it reads very hot (230ish F), but the upper hose and lower hose read normal 180-195 F). Also the overflow has been overflowing a bit, and i loose fluid after a day or two, not much though.
