I guess you're right, but champagne s14's are a dime a dozen too, BUT not slammed and with kits.

I have time to think this over.. I have a huge rust hole in my qp to fix before I paint this thing.

Yes I am sir.

If that car was all beat up I would say go for it with without thinking twice, but to me it looks way too clean to be painted blue, or any other color for that matter.

At least from what I can tell.

Not feeling the surf blue - too much like Bayside Blue, which is way played out (for Nissans).

Also, I like the light olive green pearl they're using on the Honda CR-V... WAY cool.

There's a color Caddy uses on the CTS this year that's insane... a dark merlot color, almost black, but kinda black cherry / purple metallic in the sunlight. Sexy.

I have heard people say that blue is played out before...

I honestly don't get it.

Sure I've seen a lot of blue cars, but 95% of them suck d!ck.

I just like unusual colors.... There's a few more out there I can't think of right now, but Honda's color pallette in recent years has been awesome.

With that said, I'm gonna start a Photoshop contest to design the new paint scheme for Project Vert... It'll have to be 2-tone and incorporate black (as I don't want to shoot the door jambs and underhood areas).

I mainly agree.

I wish I had 4 or 5 cars right now to do.

Not talking from a played out perspective.I have a red 240, no right to talk about played out colors.I just don't think I could repaint a well-preserved factory color. It's more of a sentimental/no going back kind of thing. Not my car though, I will be quiet now.Proceed sirs.

Yeah drifting is for those losers who just cant handle driving in a straight line for 10 seconds right?

Paint the S14 a dark cherry maybe metallic? That would be amzing with some black wheels, yum.

I agree 100% - I HATE repaints, unless the car is totally stripped (glass and rubber and interior and all).

I hate red, yet I have 3 red vehicles in my driveway. Dammit.

Yeah, I'm getting bored with it.

Thinking radical widebody, different aero, and custom paint.

i've seen resprays done without removing glass and molding, but imo it depends on the individual paint guy.

I painted this car with the glass and rubber still on. I mask it well though.

S14 was same way.

if I had the 100% desire, I would do the whole car the right way... but i dont have the time or effort.
