I have heard wonders about this injector cleaner on this site, but I live in California and was told it wasn't available on the shelves out here. Is there a comparable product out there?

I bought a can of it at my nissan dealership last week, and put it in with a full tank yesterday. It is is world of difference, and I previously thought my Q ran at it's best....now I see that is not true at all! For $20 you're a damned fOOl if you don't put a can of this into your car.

You should be able to get it at your Nissan or Infiniti dealer. 44k is nowhere to be found on shelves around here, either, but my dealer always has some in stock.

Check eBay... I bought about 15 cans of it earlier this year for about $12 each. If we ever have a nuclear attack I'll be set on oil filters and BG44K... Be sure you're getting the injector cleaner vs. the other BG products listed on there.

+1 on ebay - It goes for about half what the local stealerships want...

Plus, there's no sales tax -

If you plan on keeping your car for more than a couple years, you won't have any problem using up an entire dozen-can case. Makes a nice gift to give to friends and relatives, too!

I just run my car on it. It's an expensive fill up at $20 a can but it's a sacrafice. HAHA!!

But really, the stuff is great. I just actually saw a TV comercial for it. I wonder if they are putting it on shelves.

BK is scared that buyers might think if 1 can is good === people might think 4 cans is better and cause harm............why they limit sales outlets.

Cannot trust consumer to follow directions to the letter.

Many product require an oil [ATF] change immediately after use to limit destructive exposure..................consumers can't be trusted!

Years ago there were consumer products that contain hydrogenated chlorines and fluorines...[halogenated]...........that broke down under heat stress and water to hydrochoric and hydrofluoric ACIDS...........worked great IF you circulated for 15 minutes then TOTALLY FLUSHED THEM OUT TWICE otherwise they ate the rings and bearing quickly.

AC freons are halogenated why they are attacked by water moisture and heat......water is the key!

"Solvents containing halogen have improved solvency compared with the hydrocarbons from which they are derived and, in addition, flammability is reduced. Some of these solvents are highly toxic, and precautions must be taken to avoid inhalation of their vapors"
