I've had these tires on my '92 Q for about 3 months. It's the last summer tire for OEM rim offered by tirerack. So far so good.... stays in balance nicely and good steering feel. It's not super-sticky like the old Yokohama AVS Intermediate (which were 160 treadwear rating... BFG are 340), but good bang for the buck. I got them on sale $60 each, currently $76.

Have pics to post, but guess I can't do that anymore. PM me if you want pics, or can host them for me on this thread.

Previous tires were Kumho ECSTA KH11. They were suprisingly good for the price, but several of the tires had a slow leak. Had to buy one new one before the set wore out, but kept it as a full-size spare (non-directional, unlike BFG).

I use these tire for street tires on my Mustang in 275/40 17 on 9" cobra R wheels. I like them alot. The have tons of traction and are pretty quiet going down the road. I will proably get a set for the Q when the yokohamas it came with wear out.

I thought I might add that they don't seem to hold up to auto cross duty very well. We took them out for 16 runs or so before the Kuhmo V710s arrived and the leading edge of the outside tread block started to chunk off pretty badly. I will snap a pic when I get home tonight.

Michelin Exalto 225v60/15 $110 each will stop better in wet and last longer, more than enough to offset the extra $32.Not to mention the few less frequent rebalancing.

But at least they are made by the same company..........BFG is the low cost less engineered [for quietness, etc] step child of Michelin.

Heres a hi res pic of the outer edge of the tire. The moral is not to autocross the BFG. I like the Michelins and may have changed my mind about tires for the Q
