Beyond The Search: Power Window Question.

After reading up on the other issues people have had with their D/S power windows. I went out and started checking them out on my car. I just purchased my 240 and my D/S window and sunroof are in-op. The fuse that is supposed to be a 7.5 amp has been replaced with a 25 amp. Could this have fried the fusible links?

I am getting the amplifier, because I had already ordered it, but have not had a chance to locate it. Can someone give me a heads-up on its location?
