Hey everyone, just a reminder to be even more careful of the mindless holiday drivers. I just made a jaunt out to the mall today. What happened? Well.. 1) on the interstate, there was a nice old man in a lexus suv who decided it was a good idea to share lanes during the holidays, the dude didn't even look to merge across 2 lanes... I lay into my horn and the guy still didn't stop moving over until I accelerated and we were almost nose to nose. Just gave me this oblivious look like he didn't do anything wrong... 2) toys r us parking lot: I was scoring rock band II for $110. Was there all of 30 minutes (15 waiting in line, god bless the bible belt and its blue laws) and as I'm walking out to my car, I see a minivan "massaging" the rear fender of an older beat up car. Dude pulls back out and drives off to another parking spot. 3) as I was standing there looking at this idiot drive off, I'm noticing a the car next to me (all the way in the back of the parking lot) is a little too close for my comfort. Looking at my door, I see a fresh ding - with the same color paint as the car next to me. Great, just what I wanted for xmas.
It's not everyday I witness this level of stupid, seems to only happen during the holidays... So guys and gals, if you love your cars (and safety), I would raise your level of attention out on the roads, and park where you think it would be 99% safe - or borrow someone else's car to go shopping.
