I have had it with this company! Street Style Performance. I am a patient person and can put up with alot of crap before I get pissed off. The guy's name that I have been dealing with for the past 4 months is Matt ([email protected]), and the other person involved is [email protected]. The ebay acct is OLDR02. It all began with a great deal on a s14 clip on ebay. I am not a person to front the cash for something I see on the internet, but i figure...he!!...credit cards have an easy chargeback policy. So i go through with the sale and I recieve various emails for info on the s14 clip. I pay for the clip (which had an original location of California) and wait the 4-7 days. A week goes by, no clip. I ask for a tracking number, no answer to my emails. I call the number provided, a guy answers and says I will email you with that as soon as possible. I get an email saying that the clip is shipping from malaysia now. Many emails later and only 1 reply, I call and call this guy's cell number that he provided for me. 3-4 weeks go by and no clip. I email him with a nasty message and leave similar voicemails threatening to chargeback the credit card. The next reply is that he is having a problem with his merchant and the clip is sitting in the warehouse and has never been processed for shipment. At this point I am kinda upset that I paid this much $$ for this clip. He replies again that he will drop the price of the clip. I say OK. I then find a pic from FlashOptions' site of a clip for sale there that is the same as in my EBAY auction. I email them to see if this guy is using FlashOptions as his merchant, and they say that they havent heard of this guy. I send another email confronting him about this, and he says that I must have spoken to the wrong person b/c he has a recently new account with them and he is using them as a source for motors. I figure that this is true b/c I have read that FO is horrible to deal with and do not speak much English. At this point I email him saying that he must get the clip here in a week or cancel the order and refund my $$. I get a reply saying that he cannot meet the deadline that i gave him, but he can send me an s13 motor plus cash back I ask for a pic, and i see that the motor has no MAF and a cut harness. I tell him to refund my money and I will forget it all. He then says that his account has been frozen with his merchant and cannot refund it immediately. Another week goes by and no refund. I send yet another nasty email, and he pleads for me not to do a chargeback and that he can send me an s14 clip by the end of the week. I ask for proof and he send me this pic:

After seeing this clip, I jump on the opportunity of having a bad A$$ clip. Many things are running through my head... 1) BLING!!! 2)too good to be true 3)this guy is only trying to delay this 4)i am prolly gonna get screwed 5)Dang thats a hella nice clip!! So i send him an email saying as long as you can provide me with a tracking number, send me the clip. He said that after the weekend is over, he will send it out monday. After talking to my friends, and having them put negative images in my head, I decide to resort to my Forensic Science major and decide to breakdown the photo b/c it seems kind of fishy. In the next photo, you can clearly see that the "enviroment" around the car is in clear view and you should see that in the windshield.

Except for the fact that the windshield and cowling is blacked out, and a crappy photoshop job for that fact. I confront him about this and he replies "The black that was there was covering where I had tried to put streetstyleracing.com. But it looked horrible so I blackened it out. That is the only reason why it was there." That is still sounding like a lil BS to me, but I dont bother at this point. Then as things are seeming to settling in my mind and giving this guy the benefit of the doubt, I come across this link for a Japanese auction for Earth Grounding cables.

http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co...94567

and the first image is the same exact pic of the car, except this time the windshield is not blacked out.

And to top it all off, when reviewing the Ebay acct of the seller a minute ago, it states that it is not a registered user anymore and that the user is now suspended.

This is starting to P!$$ me off!!

you shouldn't be buying motors from EBAY. bet you don't know if the compression ratio is good on the motor you were supposed to get

There is a nice little sticky about buying on ebay. Have you read it? I would contact ebay and see what avenues of pursuit you have on this guy. I would also see if you can find out more about his wherabouts via his cell phone. Tell him you want to meet him or something. If you can get face to face with him, he may feel more obliged to answer to you.

CHARGE BACK THAT CREDIT CARD RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ray's just trying to give him the benifit of the doubt. They kept saying they had shiped it, and who's he not to beleive them. I've known him for a while and he's not stupid, he bought a motor that was for sale IN the united states, his seller is the one who screwed him by farming his motor off to malaysia.
