whats a better timming on a 89 KA24(E) @14 or @17 or does it even matter?

15 is OEM. 17 is better as long as you don't get any detonation.

wont matter if their cars are fine at 17, what matters is if your car will be ok at 17. that extra 2 degrees wont do much. Not worth it imo.
