noo an intake is not simply just an intake, there's cold air, short ram, different intake=diff hp gains diff fuel efficiency gains. thats like saying an exhaust is an exhaust

Every intake is a short ram for the A/C, 2.5 or 3.5. To have a cold air intake the air filter needs to be in "Fresh" air away from the engine, which is not possible with the A/C's engine compartment.

Also, the K&N in my opinion since it connects to the stock air dam its kindof a quasi cold air intake. If you purchase an intake to notice significant HP gains you are a sucker in my opinion.

I'm sorry to defy you God. I will repent in your name.

To be more specific, what I meant to say was that for the Altima Coupe, the designs of those that are available are all quite similar. Thus, they yield pretty much the same gains.

considering that they dont make a true cold air for our cars they are all the same. one can argue between the aem and k&N being cold air but they dont acctually suck up that mcuh cold air if any after it going through the radiator. hell there isnt any room for even a ram air intake with out any modification and relocating stuff and that would be the only intake that you could expect gains from on the dyno. The only reason they sell that crap is to trick people into thinking they will just bolt them on and get more power, they only make your car sound like it has more power. IMO they are on the same level as the electric supercharger and exhaust whisle.
