Does anyone have any of these intakes for a non-supercharged 2002 Xterra SE. They all claim HP increases, but I'd prefer to hear opinions from those who actually own the products.

I had the SLR intake... Didn't like it because it didn't have any real way to secure the cone filter in place (the kit came with a zip tie). Also, because its an "open" filter, it is more likely to get heat soak and far more dirt if you take it off road.

I actually have the Stillen cold air box and like it alot. Nice sound and notice a little bump in HP. I also have a flowmaster exhaust to match it with...

I think Stillen is closing out on this so you might be able to get an okay deal. Lists for $260. I got it including shipping for $218

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was thinking of going with the Calmini Hi-Flow exhaust. What made you decide on the Flowmaster?

There were a few. I had a gibson SS cat back and felt it was too quiet and it rusted! I felt the FM 40 series was too loud for the amout of highway driving I do. The FM 50 series was a nice "in between".

When I got it the Calmini wasn't out when I installed the flowmaster...

JDM, what about power increases? Can you feel a difference? Also, what is your exhaust setup like?

Difference i really didint notice, alot of other frontier friends said they felt a difference with nismo intake, i myself just noticed a loud growl. My exhaust is stock, im thinking about getting just the muffler replaced to see if it combines with intake to actaully make a difference. If you click on my signature it has a picture of the intake. Just in my opinion the other intakes look cheaply made and of plastic.

the NISMO, Volatn, AEM (brute Force) offer the best performance gains, I saw some dynojet runs on a few trucks, and I saw a good gain. But I did not see the 10-20 gains, as promsied, but a 5-10 gains.

Yeah, I recently put the Nismo intake on my supercharged xterra, and I can defintaley tell the difference. When I hit the gas hard it definaletly pushes you back into your seat harder then before, and it makes the supercharger sound so much nicer.
