Than the tweaker that is in there now. The horn makes a very embarassing sound.

Any aftermarket horns available that plug into the existing harness?

It's not the size of your horn that matters...it's how you use it.

(Sorry I couldn't resist.)

I found this Piaa kit on Ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

Is there a kit specifically for the Q45?

Thanks.

You could get a train horn...a bunch of people around here have them on their trucks. They are loud enough to wake the dead but they sure are fun

Yeah. My Q horn is embarassing. Same for my 97 Sentra horn. The GAYEST horn of all time.

How does my Q, looking mean, and sexy, have the worst horn in the world? When people are slow to leave the line at green and I'm behind them, sometimes I don't even honk. I really need to get a new horn. My "alarm" went off, (some kind of alarm. Wouldn't scare a baby.) and it sounded really terrible. Just whiny. I miss the horn in my Grand Cherokee. When that alarm went off, ooooh boy, WATCH OUT!.

Nissan. Makes fantastic cars, but have the most terrible horns.

ive done it a few times, not sure where to mount everything on a Q, but i would get extra tubing if you are going to mount the compressor and tank in the trunk and mount the horns underneath or in the grille, upside to this method is 'its clean' downside, the horns are louder the closer they are to the solenoids and tank, ill prolly take my fender off and mount in there, and mount the horns in the grille

ill do a write up about it when the time comes good luck picking a horn hehe

I'd rather just get a better, louder, and more masculine horn to replace my stock one. Like a quick plug and play. If it was warmer, I'd be willing to stand around and tinker and be complicated. I do admit, I'm learning much more about my Q with this hands on approach. But between work, class, and these shorter days, i rarely have the time to do anything.
