Better Engine in a 1998 altima???

Anyone know if i could stuff a bigger/better engine in my GXE? i would love to put an engine from an SE-R or 300Z but i'm no mechanic and i'd probably have to pay so for now i'm trying to research what can be done & how hard it would be.

i love my car it even has decent power with the current egine and all i did was change to a cone air filter so i'm sure it has plenty of potential...but i wanna do something different with it. i've seen altimas with all kinds of mods, but a different engine would make mine a nice sleeper...which is my goal...i want people to think it's nothing when we're at the light & blow their doors off on green! i'm trying to keep the appearance stock..i'm even keeping hub caps on it. everything i'm gonna do is gonna be performance

Any help or ideas for my project would be greatly appreciated. i just got into this and i've got my buddies at work teasing me about my little family car. they all have honda's celicas...you know the type.

If all you have is a cone filter, why worry about other engines when you still have plenty to do w/the KA? Besides, the QR doesn't make much more power than the KA even w/VTC....I ran 16 flat in my '93 Altima with I/H/P and Max muffler and that's an auto..
