better drag setup?

if you had 5000 what engine in a 1989 240sx coupe would be a faster car with that amount of money?? a sr20det...or a ca18det?? just wonderin what to go with..cause i bascially want speed... thanx guiys

A KA24DET...oh wait, thats what I'm doing this summer hehe.EDIT: nm you don't have the de...With 5000 you could go RB if you did the swap yourself.

I would go CA18DET...but that's just me. But i'm probably just gonna rebuild my KA24E...
