I know odd question but I have been looking for windshield washer fluid that gets rid of crap and doesn't streak odd combo?

Does anyone use any specific windshield wiper fluid, stuff they think works the best?

(I know odd question)

Whatever is at the gas station for sale. Never had crap on my windshield unless you are talking about bird poop. Got my kids potty trained a long long time ago.

I go for the basic washer fluid and it works fine. But be sure to change the wiper blades regularly - that makes a bigger difference than the type of cleaner.

I usually just get whatevers cheapest at Walmart. Usually is Peak.

I've never had any problems with any, but the all season rainx would prolly be a good one of your having streaks and stuff.

Or it could be your blades, get a good brand of windshield wiper blades (I use the rainx Contour ones) some of the cheap brands suck.

Just don't forget to get low-temp washer fluid in winter. You don't want your washer fluid freezing...

I've never been picky about washer fluid. It's not really something you can get a lot of benefit from going all out with. Just soap, water, and antifreeze. Grab what's cheap and you're set.

Sorry long reply.

yes I have tried those I just wanted to get a rough idea of what people use.

When it comes to Blades I use Bosch Icons 16" 24" I think

Great blades wanted them for winter no ice build up and pushed snow off better then anything I've ever seen, first year I didn't need to slap my wiper blades every time it snowed because they were covered in ice.

But I seem to get these odd streaks when I use them, as well as a odd haze that goes away within 30 seconds but still.

Any ideas??

I believe the streaking is just the way the glass is...

As for the fluid, I use anything that's cheap - I'd even use water for the most part - you're just trying to get junk off.

For the winter though, I make sure I buy the de-icing kind, as that is really useful.

I thoroughly cleaned the windshield then applied a polymer based glass sealant. It stops water from streaking and encourages water to bead.

Also helps the wipers last longer & glide more smoothly/quietly over the glass. Bug/dirt doesn't stay on the glass once it is sealed.

I'll recommend that over spending $ on premium washer fluid.
