currently all i have is a SAFC2, but i know with what i'm running, i'm probably not seeing the car's full potencial.

Basicis of the mods on it are:

Stock rebuilt bottom end with stronger chromoly ringsTomei 256 camsGT28RS turbo720 CC Venom InjectorsHuge FMICRB20 Mafwalbero 255 185deg thermostat3" turbo back exhausttube manifoldrunning 12psi, i will be adding 2 stage boost controler set at 12psi and 18psi.

I was leaning to go mega squirt.. but is eprom chip a option? I have few weeks to get the car running and tuned but I want it done good. Tring to dyno 300whp is my target. Can I get that with my safc2 or do i need an upgrade?

I don't think the SAFC will do it. I'd recommend the Horshams's stage III chip. It's a PHENOMINAL chip from what I hear. That chip with some fine tuning with the SAFC should get you pretty darn close.

Can I ask why you're running such big injectors?

i'm running huge injectors cause i got a sweet deal on them and smaller ones would have cost me more hah And knowing myself i might want more HP down the line, only thing stopping me for shooting for 400hp over 300whp is cash, but i'm opening a custom paint shop, so hopin my cash situation gets better for 400whp.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

For the price MS isn't a bad setup at all, there's just a lot of labor involved.

was reading the specs on the Horshams's stage 3 chip, says it won't work on any injector besides a 444cc and z32 maf, i'm useing 720cc an RB20 maf.. would it matter or could i just teqek that with the safc?

The stage 3 chip is designed to optimise the fuelling and ignition for an S13 with the following modifications: Free flow air filter Free flow exhaust Boost controller to achieve 17psi boost pressure Uprated intercooler T28 hybrid turbo Uprated fuel pump 444cc injectors from a GTiR (SR20DET engine) or Skyline (RB26DETT engine) Z32 AFM Super unleaded fuel (>97 RON) The chip removes the fuel cut and, in conjunction with the upgrades above, will allow the engine to produce in excess of 300bhp. The stage 3 chip will only work with 444cc injectors and a Z32 (300ZX) air flow meter (AFM).

Injector size is cool, but you need a better type of engine management to control those injectors because that super afc ain't happening for anything better than 550cc.

Where do you get that chip from? Seems like I might be interested.

You could try and correct for the injectors and MAFS with the SAFC, but I don't think you'd get the full effect of the chip. The size of injector you're using will support A LOT of HP. I'm using 555cc injectors and I'm sorely oversized. I don't have too much problem with my idle, but I'm using a standalone.

I think that you would be VERY well off to define a goal for yourself and then do what is require to reach that goal.

Buying parts because they're cheap and not what you want/need won't get you anywhere but poor....

ive got a msII. its gonna be the sheezy once i get her on there. can your SDS play mp3's? i highly doubt it. yeah, you heard me. go with the msII, if youve got a buddy who knows them you wont find anything better for twice the price.

510s are NOT too big for what im planning, its just that since the msII isnt on there yet im paying for it with drivability. i promise ill be close to maxing them out when ive got this puppy up and running.

on a side note, theres a used stinger ems on ebay set up for a ca18. its cheap, and its a very good unit. someone might want to give it a try.

I'm running an SDS EM-4F.

I don't have a radio, so your mp-3 player self proclaimed coolness doesn't apply to me.
