Hey I just bought another set of Enkei 92s for drift use and the previous owner spray painted them. I got a can of Aircraft Paint stripper and some wire brushes but it is a lot of work for not a lot of progress. Here is a picture of what several hours, a can of stripper, a few wire brushes and a razor blade got me:

I don't want to mess up the lip too bad either.

So short of sand blasting what would be the best way?

Something soft like media/ walnut blasting or plastic bead or maybe even soda blasting. Talk to a professional they'll know what to do.

Steel wool and some polishing compound will take you a long way.

I went ahead and sandblasted two of the wheels. I am going back over the lip and polishing it back up once I get time.
