What is the easiest/best way to route wires through the firewall? Is there a specific hole that I can already use for thin wires?

thanx

There are several holes... not sure about an S14, but on my 90 S13 I simply followed a loom of wire back and sure enough, there was enough space to slip 2 wires through and out under the dash to install my alarm horn. I dont know the S14 really at all though so I cant give you an exact location.

On the driver side, there's a hole already with wires through it. It's right below or somewhere below the brake booster. You can insert wires there. On the passenger side, there's another hole, right by the A/C piping going into the firewall.

I took my 4 gauge amp wire through the hole where the cable to the hood popper goes through. There is a rubber boot around it, so just look for that underneath the booster.
