I'm putting a rb engine in my 95 S14. It's equipped with a/c so under the passenger side dash its rather tight. Do I have to remove the entire dash and a/c unit just to remove and install the new harness, or is there some special trick? I've searched google with a few different phrases and nothing came up about this subject. I am really hoping I don't have to remove the dash as that will take hours.

ThanksJack

The only thing you need to remove is the ABS if your S14 has it. Its pretty easy to do. You might want to use a coat hanger or something to pull the wiring harness through the firewall and behind the dash.

just loosen a few of the nuts holding the evap core and blower box. this should give you enough room to wiggle everything through. there is also a small clip holding the harness to the firewall...either pull real hard or get a screwdriver back there and pop it loose.

I am new here and have a question since this is a topic I am interested in. Is it very difficult to find a wiring harness for the engine and interior? Do you know how much work is involved in putting these in the car? Thank you.
