Hey Guys,

Just got an 09 coupe about 3 months ago and am trying to make some mods to it. My first and most important question is how to drop my ride properly. I've seen a lot of nice dropped alty's here and am seeking good honest advice.

I am also looking to throw some 18's on it when I drop it. If you opinions on that too then that's great.

About my car: white, altima coupe 2.5s, everything stock

I have BC Racing Coilovers which allow me to adjust the height of my car. I am fully lowered on the coils.

The other way to lower the car is with Eibach springs but it will still have a gap between fender/tire.

Wheel just go with what you like best. I currently have XXR 006 in 18x8.5 all around. +35 front and +15 rear.

Welcome to the forum.

Most popular methods are Eibachs or BC Racing.

With the Eibach springs, it is not adjustable and lessens the wheel gap nicely but with 18's you might still have some room under there.

With the coilovers, the height is adjustable which is nice. But they are also about 7x the price of springs.

Other routes would be K Sport coilovers which are cheaper than BC Racing but I'm sure they have their drawbacks (which I'm not sure of any). Or H & R springs which are a bit more money (I am pretty sure) and have a lesser drop

Heat your springs or cut them
