if you did your research - you would know that the sr is the appropriate choice. The same factors you asked for all point to the sr.

cost = srease = what do you mean? Install? = srreliabilty = sr. It's oem for chris sake.better overall = too ambiguous. Depends on what you want...sheer power...go with the rb. But, with a few mods, there's nothing an rb can do that the sr can't.

But anyway...I don't think that's your real question. What you really want...is someone to make the decision for you...so you can't be at fault for making the wrong. But the reality is, there is no wrong choice. Either setup would be sweet...and envied (if that's what you want...your post subject seemed a bit vainy, needy)...

so just make the decision yourself and don't look back. Either way you will ultimately be satisfied.

We had a S13 Hatch running ET 12.28 and 117 mph here three years ago, the really fun thing was the cheap way he made it, really ugly car.In a Vert these parts would take you to a low 13 sec easy.

He used a CA18DET (stock here) with better pistons (not forged), home made exhaust manifold, GT40 truck turbo, 3" MAFS, stock injectors with higher fuel pressure, Bosch pump, custom ECU upgrade, truck IC, BMW clutch and S14 rear axle.Stock intake manifold, TB, cams, rods and a lot more...Also removed seats and spare wheels to keep the weight down.

This car didn´t make huge hp numbers but damn, that launch! The VLSD with a good clutch and MT´s can make the difference.

really? I thought that it would take about 300-350whp to hit 13's in a vert. what was your setup? If you're not yanking my tail, then I would definetly go for the SR

It would not take 300-350whp to go 13-anything in a 240 'vert. 250-260whp should do the trick easily.

Put a mild T3 on your KA24DE, some 550cc/min injectors, a Maxima/Pathfinder or Z32 MAF, and you're there.

Or if you're feeling different...a 100hp shot of direct-port nitrous would do the trick, as well.

Buy a Civic and get a type R motor to run it. That's how I did all day.

Wow....im sure u know ur stuff but an sr compares very little to an RB.... also why do u rule out the KA so quickly? How do you get that an SR is cheaper than turbo'ing the KA24DE???? How much did your sr cost? Ive never heard of an Sr swap costing less than 2500-3000.... and thats a cheap , half *** swap.... You could easily turbo a KA for that and probably even have enough left over for more goodies.... Im not bashing on the SR at all... i love those motors but i am a KA guy and i disagree with your price evaluation.
