Alright so I have 219K miles on my 92 Coupe complete stock. Compression readings are 160 160 150 160, So pretty damn good. Car runs fine but the car puffs out a little bit of blue smoke. Car does not overheat, Runs good but just a little puff of smoke. I was told to run 108 unleaded octane and drive down the freeway at about 4k RPM and let that burn it all out. Would that help any? or is their better ways to flush out carbon build up. Thanks.

Shell gasoline lol. But really, take a long road trip. That tends to help.

I was joking about the gas. But a LONG road trip at highway speeds will help.

Running 108 octane sounds about like running some fuel injection cleaner. One brand has on the bottle with jet fuel. Just run some cleaner through it and go drive on the highway at a high rate of speed it will clean things out.

if you really want to clean it up as well as some grime in the motor run some seafoam some people say mixed reviews about it but it works. Sometimes a little bit to good (eats bad seals). If you wanna go a little bit easier get some lucas fuel injector cleaner and run like 2-3 cycles of that and you should be good to go from there

I highly doubt the blue smoke has anything to do with carbon build up. In fact, a high carbon build up would create higher compression. Blue smoke is oil, so I would be looking at rings and valve stem seals as a more likely culprit.

But if you realy want to clean the intake system, SeaFoam is as good as any other product. Combine that with the regular use of Chevron Supreme with Techron and that will manage any carbon build up you may have.
