The fastest is to stick a lit match in it.

Ok, I'll stop post whoring... But like [s3] said, siphon it out into a portable gas tank. ie those plastic red ones MADE for carrying gas. They come in all differnt sizes. Just don't put gas in ANY TYPE of plasic container.... it WILL eat through it.

i figured siphoning would be one way, but i was looking for a better way, besides dropping the tank, or getting a mouthful of gas. i should make a dentist appointment, and have gas breath when i go..... if you guys get any other good ideas, let me know,.

Use a clear tube, then you know when to stop sucking on it :)

Don't the 240's have a gas tank drain hole by the rear suspension sub frame, or am I thinking of my girlfriend's Focus? Sorry, I don't have my FSM with me, but I thought for sure that it had a drain on it.......

You could always calculate your exact gas mileage and drive til you're just running out as you pull into your driveway. Slightly more complicated but no risk of gas-in-the-mouth :D

Let the fuel pump pump it out for you.

Disconnect the fuel line in the engine compartment before or after the filter. I dont know if the fuel pump is always active when the key is in the on position, but if it wont stay on, disconnect the harness for the pump and apply 12v. Stop the pump immediately after fuel stops coming out, or you could overheat and kill your pump.

Dont all cars nowadays have some sort of antisiphoning device in the filler neck?

My FSM make no mention of a drain plug.

Using that stuff called intelligence I see. Well we'll have none of that! On a positive note, gasoline doesn't have much of a flavor. Neither does motor oil in case you were wondering :)

The fuel pump thing is pure genius, I'd never thought of that one.

Oh yeah you can also buy siphons with a squeeze bulb to suck the gas for you.

thanks alot guys, i bought the car with a cracked ka head, and now with all my new sr goodies, i don't even want to start it with this old gas. i think that using the fuel pump will work good, i'll jack up the front, and keep turning the key from off to on (i think it runs for a few seconds). i got a supra tt pump so it should go pretty quick. thanks again.

hey yo the easy way to do it is to undo your fuel lines and jump out your fuel pump relay and pump it all out that way or at least that is what i did

the supra tt pump (denso=quality) flows 290lph at 12 volts.... so hold on to your walaby or whatever it is..... and i've got an avc-r so you can keep your boost controller too....
