Hole Saw! They make Hole saws up to 8 inches, we use an 8 for JBL W7s . Depending on your target HP goal you will either have 2.5" or 3" piping regardless of which you have buy a hole saw 1/2" larger than the piping. Also buy 6" of heater hose the size of your hole saw. Some NAPA/Advanced, etc etc wont have heater hose this big (used for class 5 and up trucks) because they suck. In the event that they don't have hose large enough find a trucking garage, truck stop with a shop etc etc and buy the hose from them.
Measure twice and cut once. For a clean install you only get one shot at making the hole of do not mess it up. Cut your hole and then when you put your IC piping in the hole you should have a 1" piece of the giant heater hose lining the batt tray. It will be a snug and tight fit (some times we need sandpaper or a file to make the hole ever so slightly bigger) but assuming the car gods like you it will go in just right. The heater hose is now acting like a giant rubber grommet so when you accelerate, brake, hit potholes, etc etc the piping doesn't rack up against the hole and wear a hole in the piping.
Hope that helps and happy modding!
