Best way to clean dried bird crap off vert top?

What's the best way to get dried bird poo off the vert top? A toothbrush should help, but is there some kind of cleaner? Or will water be fine?

not as bad as when i had to clean bird crap off my back seat when i left the top down.... but when i got poop on my top i just wash my car and it comes off fine. i wouldnt use any chemicals on my top unless it was a protectant like this stuff called star brite made for boat tops.

mild detergent should do the trick. I use cheap dish soap to wash my car and it takes the bird poo off easily. We park under a big tree, so vert gets bombed pretty often.
