Best virus scanner

Well I've been using AVG for a while now, and I dont think its getting it done for me anymore... IT always finds viruses and says it cant open them or somethign crappy like that.....

Regardless of if you have to buy it (Free is BEST) what do you guys like???

i like terndo house call i think its called.

just do a google search for "free virus scan" and it should be like the 1st or 2nd one.

Why not, I had Norton for a year or so and no problems.

I use Symantec Corporate software and it's been pretty good as long as you update it regularly.

Sophos is free. Apparently you register and it gives you a code for free personal use. Sophos, I am told, is as capable as Symantec's Norton. Without Norton's resource hogging.

You do NOT want a virus scanner off Kazaa. Its like a used condom!

For whatever reason, AVG just doesnt get frequent enough updates and isn't effective enough at properly killing the nastiest virii.
