What is the best type of brake pad for 2003 M450--standard factory pad or the newer generation of ceramic pads?

While there are definitely some differing opinions on this, the general consensus among the Infiniti owners here is that the OEM factory pad has the best combination of performance, sound (no squealing) and wear/tear on the rotors.

I'd stick with OEM and get a good technician to do the work!

And, as always, remember to seat new pads in properly (particularly if the rotors have been resurfaced) ... to avoid the dreaded "warped rotor" vibration that is often due to clumpy pad material coming off on the rotor.
